About the founder
Rupali Dogra
Rupali is a New York City–based Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and the founder of Kuva Yoga & Wellness — an award-winning geriatric wellness practice focused on adaptive Hatha yoga for older adults.
She created the Chair Yoga & Meditation program to support mobility, joint health, emotional well-being, and community connection. Experienced in addressing age-related challenges like arthritis, insomnia, and depression, her work fosters strength, resilience, and dignified aging.

Beyond the mat
An endurance athlete & retreat leader
Rupali practices what she teaches about resilience. She has completed four World Marathon Majors — New York (2023), London (2024), Chicago (2024), and Berlin (2025) — proof of the strength and discipline she brings to her work with older adults.
In March 2025 she led a wellness retreat for senior women in Puerto Rico, centered on social connection and positive aging, and has been featured in a YouTube documentary on the role of yoga and mindfulness in mental health for older adults.
